These Terms of Service govern your use of Fishing Loons websites, pages, media, tools, forms and other public features (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Fishing content is informational
Fishing Loons publishes entertainment, opinions, fishing stories, gear discussion, podcasts, videos and educational information. Conditions, laws, seasons, limits, access rules and safety requirements change by location and time. You are responsible for checking current local regulations and making your own decisions before fishing, travelling, purchasing gear or acting on Site content.
3. Outdoor activity and safety
Fishing and outdoor activities can involve weather, water, wildlife, boats, hooks, tools and other hazards. Use appropriate judgment, equipment and supervision. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for professional safety, emergency, legal or medical advice.
4. Forms, messages and submissions
If you contact Fishing Loons, submit a partnership inquiry or otherwise send information through the Site, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, malicious, infringing or deceptive material. We may filter spam, profanity or automated abuse and may decline or remove submissions.
5. Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Fishing Loons branding, original text, graphics, layouts, audio, video, photographs and custom Site features are owned by or licensed to Fishing Loons and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, sell, impersonate, remove attribution from or commercially exploit protected Site content without permission or another lawful basis.
6. Advertising, affiliates, partners and external links
Fishing Loons may display first-party advertising, sponsor placements, partner features and affiliate links that are built directly into the Site. These placements may appear whether or not you enable optional cookies. Where optional measurement, profiling or non-essential tracking is used in connection with advertising, affiliates or partners, it is controlled by the applicable cookie choice. If you follow an affiliate or partner link, the destination website may receive information such as the referring page and may process information under its own terms and privacy practices. Fishing Loons may receive compensation, products, services or commissions from some commercial relationships. A commercial relationship does not make Fishing Loons responsible for a third party, its products, availability, policies or website. Purchasing decisions remain yours.
8. Site availability
We may change, update, suspend or remove Site features or content at any time. We do not promise that every feature will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device or third-party service.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fishing Loons and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of, reliance on or inability to use the Site. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply from that point forward.
